The epidemiology department at the Department of Health in Suwannee County investigates and monitors communicable diseases in the county. Our epidemiology nurse is trained to assess, evaluate and monitor communicable disease reports to help prevent epidemics. This protects individuals, families and the community from disease outbreaks.
